At PR Associates, we believe statutory building compliance is essential for ensuring the quality, safety, and sustainability of school facilities.  We offer a bespoke property support service for your school which includes an annual compliance check and access to our book of vetted contractors.  We help source quotes for your priority contracts,  fixed wiring inspections, energy certificates, fire, and legionella risk assessments, and we can also provide asbestos management plans and audits through our in-house consultants. In addition, we can offer compliance audits for Trusts and High Schools if required. Your SLA will also include free feasibility studies and advice from our surveying team and in house asbestos team.  Our SLA costs are charged annually and will incur no additional hidden fees throughout the year.

PR Associates Ltd. can also assist with securing funding for a wide range of school building projects, whether this is for basic need, expansion, condition, energy or emergency work. By July 2024 we had helped to secure in excess of £60m to date for schools. Our dedicated team understand how to successfully navigate the various funding bid applications and can advise on how we can best assist you secure the funding you need for your project. We provide a fully supportive service for bidding. We often work on a ‘no win, no fee’ basis.

Our asbestos team are fully conversant with all types of school buildings and where asbestos has most likely been used in their construction. We carry out several types of asbestos surveys and reports: management plans and registers which detail where asbestos is and how it should be managed to ensure your compliance with regulations and legal responsibilities. We also manage asbestos removal where necessary, writing specifications, carrying out tender exercises and managing the removal works. Our designers arrange for all necessary building project related asbestos surveys to be undertaken as part of their CDM Regulation duties
