Nunnery Wood High New DT, Performing Arts and Music Block

This was a £3m project to replace the existing ROSLA (Raising of the School Leaving Age) block. We assisted the school with securing funding and provided a turn-key package from the bid stage through to completion. The accommodation includes the DT, Music and Performing Arts and Humanities classrooms on three levels. We were able to design the new block on the site while the existing block remained in use and then once the new accommodation was ready the school could relocate enabling the old block to be demolished. Some of the existing DT equipment was relocated where possible and new provided where needed.

The impact that this project has had for the school has been huge, they now have state of art facilities that generates an income out of school hours as well as seeing an increase in learning outcomes.
