Blessed Edwards Oldcorne Catholic College Boiler and Heating replacement

This project was in two phases, firstly the boiler room had a total refurbishment with replacement boilers, plant and ancillaries, including an environmental clean. The following year we replaced a large part of the heating system with new pipework, heat emitters, etc., as the original pipework was in very poor condition and ran through underground ductwork which was inaccessible due to asbestos. The total cost of the project was nearly £500k. We helped the school secure funding and took the project from feasibility through to completion.

This project had a major impact on the future maintenance liabilities for the school and has eliminated the risk of school closures due to boiler failure or underground leaks on old heating pipework. All plant is now accessible and easily maintained.
